Barbara was born on May 28, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

Barbara was a resident of Springfield, Illinois at the time of passing.

Barbara attended St. Joseph's School Ursuline Academy and graduated from Springfield High School. She also attended Springfield Junior College and later in life earned her bachelor's degree from Sangamon State University.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday March 16 2017 at Kirlin-Egan Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th Street Springfield. The visitation will begin with a prayer service. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Friday March 17 2017 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception 524 E. Lawrence Springfield with Rev. Braden Maher officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
