Barbara Helen Yeakle, 64, of Bel Air, MD passed away on March 27, 2015 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wheeler Yeakle and Helen (Hampton) Yeakle. During the years of 1974 to 1983 she taught in the Catholic School System and was in The Order of Sisters of Mary in Philadelphia, PA. She then worked from 1986 to 2004 as a Customer Service Representative for McCormick Spice. She enjoyed golfing, coin collecting, bicycling and reading. Miss Yeakle is survived by her brother Geoffrey Hampton Yeakle of Wildwood Crest, NJ; sisters, Patricia Yesenosky of Kansas City, MO, Cindi Yeakle of Wilmington, DE and Debra Wynings of Farmington, MN; uncle, Walter Yeakle of Towson; and loving nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephew. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in memory of Barbara Yeakle to Catholic Charities Abingdon Gardens, 3001 Saint Clair Drive, Abingdon, MD 21009 or Delaware Hospice Center, 16 Polly Drummond Center, 2nd Floor, Newark, DE 19711.
