In loving memory of Barbara Jean Bowersox, who went home to her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2018. She was born in Henryetta, OK on January 15, 1921 to Della and Earl Ingram. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, C.H. Bowersox, Jr. "Sox" and brother, Earl Ingram, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Sue Wiewall, of Houston, TX. Barbara and "Sox" had four children; Son, Stephen & wife, Mary Bowersox, of Oklahoma City. A grandmother to their daughter Lindsey and husband, Art Tuttle of Conroe, TX; and a great-grandmother to their children, Trae, Asa, River and Rex. Son, Philip and wife, Barbara Bowersox of Oklahoma City. A grandmother to their sons, William and wife, Cameron; and Charles, all of Oklahoma City. Son, James "Jim" and wife, Patricia, of Piedmont; and grandmother to their son, Grant of Miami, OK. Daughter, Sarah and husband, Kevin Duvall, of Oklahoma City. She was known as "Aunt Babbie" to numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved. Upon the death of her husband in 1971, she became the President of his company, Solvent Manufacturing Company; now SMC Technologies, Inc. She was a dedicated friend, confidant and world traveler. She loved to cook and enjoyed family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was a passionate contributor to several Christian organizations, such as Billy Graham Crusades, Campus Crusade for Christ, Child Evangelism, Christian Jew Hour, Mission Mail Bag, Scope Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and The Orinoco River Missionaries in Venezuela, South America. She attended Grace Bible Church since 1978. She was a devoted witness of Godly character and loved biblical studies. We will celebrate her life on January 30, 2018 in the Chapel located at Crossings Community Church at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Christian organization of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Epworth Villa, her care providers, and Hospice for the outstanding care they provided her. We will always cherish our mom's love to each of us. She will be greatly missed.
