Barbara “Barb” Tyler Entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at the age of 72 years. Dearest sister of Jim (Elizabeth) Tyler and Michael (Lyn) Tyler. Cherished Aunt of Sue (Tim) Kelley, Scott (Laurie) Gross, Walter (Dina) Eccles, Katie Eccles, Kevin (Tracy) Eccles, Margaret Tyler, Michael Tyler Sheri (Paul) Steiner, Tony Tyler, David Tyler and Coleen Tyler. Loved by many grand-nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and dear friends. Barb was preceded in death by her parents Mollie and Clarence Tyler, her sisters Carol Gross, Kathleen Eccles, Sr. Mary Tyler OP and Maureen Tyler. Barb devoted much of her time to volunteer activities that she passionately supported. Those include Irish Fest, St. Bernard’s Transitional Living Services, Forever Friends, Dominican Center for Women, Friends for Health in Haiti, Shamrock Club of Wisconsin Milwaukee Chapter and she was a board member of Friends of St. Patrick and many more. Barbara was a retired Vice President of Corporate Services at Colbalt. Post retirement, she worked for St. Mary’s Elm Grove and Mother of Good Council schools. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18th at CHRIST KING CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2612 N. Swan Blvd., Wauwatosa, from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Private Committal Services at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, 585 County Rd. Z Sinsinawa, WI. 53824.
