Bartholomew F. Supple, Jr. "Bart" died peacefully after a short illness at home on April 20, 2017 in Tampa, FL at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Supple and sister, Ellen Forlino.

Bart is survived by his wife Toni, lovingly married for 58 years.

Children are: Bart P. Supple (preceded his Dad in death in 1994), Timothy Supple married to Cathryn (of Sneads Ferry, NC), Brian Supple married to Mari (of Tampa), Colleen (Supple) married to Scott Hundley (of Tampa), Julie (Supple) married to Mark Piper (of St. Petersburg) and sister Loretta Mary Kulbatski (of Jersey City, NJ).

Eight Grandchildren: Dane Supple, married to Hillary, Jonathan, married to Felisha, Helena and Hunter Supple, Katie (Hundley) Walters, married to Derrick, Madison Hundley, Gabriella Piper and Hannah Ullery; Two Great Grandchildren, Nolen Supple and Ryker Walters

Bart was born on 15 February 1936 in Jersey City, NJ to Loretta & Bartholomew F. Supple, Sr. of Jersey City, NJ. He met his sweetheart Toni (White) Supple while he served in the US Air Force at MacDIll AFB and they married in 1958. Bart and Toni lived in South Tampa for 58 years where he worked for TECO for almost 50 years starting out as an Auxiliary Operator and worked his way up to the Supervisor of Plant Operations at Gannon Station, Power Plant. They lovingly welcomed 5 children into their home where Bart was a Loving husband and an amazing father He was passionate about his family. For Bart, family was his world.

Bart shared his electrical knowledge and virtually, single handedly wired the entire first St. Patrick’s School and Church Carnival that continued in South Tampa for many years. He was a member of the St. Patrick’s Dads Club and Member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in their early years. Bart was also an avid Do It Yourselfer. He had a dry sense of humor that often caught people off guard.

Monsignor Thomas Earner (former Pastor of St Patrick’s Church and School) will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bart's life. Visitation will be held, Saturday April 29, 2017 from 10am to 11am at Blount and Curry Macdill Chapel, 605 South Macdill Ave, Tampa FL 33609. A funeral service will begin at 11am followed by interment at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
