Benjamin T. Nolan "Captain Black"
Benjamin peacefully passed away at his home on November 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was a dedicated and loyal employee with Wood Resources, LLC for over 40 years as a Tug Boat Captain and loved every moment of being on the river. Benjamin loved his family immensely and he made sure everyone knew it! He was a loving husband, wonderful father and brother, caring grandfather and great-grandfather and loyal friend to all who knew him and is already missed so much.
Benjamin became an angel for his beloved wife of 36 years, Patricia Guerra Nolan; son, David Guerra Nolan; grandchildren, Ashton Graham Guerra, Cody Hill, Seth Guerra; 1 great-granddaughter; God mother, Marguerite Demolle; God daughter, Sherri Kelly (Daryl); siblings, Bob Nolan Sr. (Denise), Josh Nolan, Jannet Countryman (Wayne), Donna Colna (Jimmy), Delores Buford; his furbabies, Angel Nolan and Prissy Nolan; as well as a host of family, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
