Benjamin was born on October 14, 1924 and passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Benjamin was a resident of Piper City, Illinois at the time of passing.

His childhood was spent in Noble and he attending Hedrich Country School.

Benjamin was a WWII Veteran serving with the 55th Field Army Artillery Battalion in the Philippines from 1944 - 1946.

His funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Piper City with Rev. Rey Treyes officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Piper City with Military Rites by the Piper City American Legion Gibb Post 588. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Reilly-Redenius Funeral Home in Piper City.
