Berkley was born on January 11, 1936 and passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

Berkley was a resident of California at the time of passing.

He graduated from Amarillo High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Texas State in Canyon, Texas and his Masters degree from North Texas State in Denton, Texas.

Prior to moving to California, Berkley served in the United States Army in Korea and around the United States, including as a public information officer.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:00am at the First United Methodist Church of Riverside. Interment will follow in Riverside National Cemetery at 12:15 pm.

Berkley participated and supported organizations too numerous to mention and his family suggest that, in lieu of flowers, friends consider a contribution to a charity focused on helping children or veterans in his memory.
