Bernadine was born on April 10, 1924 and passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

Bernadine was a resident of Oelwein, Iowa at the time of passing.

Bernadine continued her education at both Upper Iowa University in Fayette and at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls where she earned a B.A. in Education.

Bernadine was married to George.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Wednesday November 30 2016 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home Oelwein with Mary Granneman leading the service. Visitation: 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home Oelwein and for one hour before the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens rural Oelwein Iowa.

In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Buchanan County Animal Shelter or Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo.
