Bernard was born on January 8, 1914 and passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
Bernard was a resident of Berwick, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing.
A U.S. Army veteran, Bennie served his country as Staff Sergeant, overseeing the occupation of
Atlantic City and training troops there for overseas deployment in World War II.
He was married to Mary M. Martin.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Chestnut Street, Berwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick, with the Rev. Dennis G. Dalessandro, his pastor, officiating as Celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Berwick Upcoming Events
