Worrell, Beryl, 94, of Wichita, Kansas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday July 27, 2017 in Wichita. Beryl was born the son of Arthur and Fannie Worrell on December 17, 1922 in Beaumont, Kansas. Beryl and Helen Worrell were united in marriage on June 1, 1947 in Leon, Kansas. Together they celebrated 70 years of marriage. Beryl served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946. Beryl retired from Boeing Government Stores after 35 years. He was preceded in passing by his parents; son, Rod Worrell; a great-grandson; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Worrell of Wichita; daughters, Diane (Steve) Wilson of Derby; Julie (Paul) Stewart of Wichita; daughter-in-law, Judy (Jimmy) Wilson of Wichita; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Worrell of Girard, Kansas; brother-in-law, Pete Mauk of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Roberta Sanders of Derby; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 1, 2017 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to Woodridge Christian Church, 12111 E. 13th St. N., Wichita or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita.
