Betty was born on March 25, 1940 and passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Betty was a resident of Akron, Ohio at the time of her passing.

She graduated from Sebring High School, was a homemaker, worked at various retirement facilities, and was a longstanding member and deacon of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Friends and family will be received Thursday, March 16th, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) Funeral service will be Friday, March 17th, 10:30 a.m., at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 420 S. Prospect Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Private burial for immediate family will follow at Homeland Cemetery.
