Betty Joan Palmer, 84, from Bronson Michigan, went at home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 9/21/17 at Coldwater Hospital in Coldwater Michigan. She was the daughter of Ruben and Nina Dean.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marion Morgan, and her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Ross Walker. Betty is survived by her three daughters: Cheryl (Ben) Jacobs of Concord, Michigan, Diana (Bruce) Lowell of Beverly Hills, Florida, Carla (Andrew) Kish of Coldwater, Michigan, and her grandchildren: Susan (David) Gorbe, Tammy (Dan) Brown, Suzette (Jayson) Attinelli, Rachel (Patrick) Oliver, Travis Cooley, Kellie (Mike) Reynolds, Emily Kish, and Erica Kish, and her great grandchildren: Kylie and Rolland Attinelli, Emma and Lucky Gorbe, Molly and Hailey Cooley, and Blayden Fuller.

Betty, also known as Joanne by her friends, was a bold, tenacious, and genuine woman who cared deeply for her family. Betty was a devout Christian, reading her bible daily, attending church regularly, and praying for her family and friends in times of struggle. Betty did not take herself seriously and loved to laugh and make others laugh. Betty was active, attending euchre at the Burnside Center in Coldwater, working at Meijer's as a food sample demonstrator in Coldwater for 8 years, and completing crossword and word search puzzles in her free time. Betty loved to travel, and had many adventures with Diana, Cheryl, and Carla.

According to Betty's wishes, Cremation has taken place. The Celebration of her Life will be held Thursday September 28th at 1pm at the Church of Christ, 718 E. Chicago Street, Bronson, Michigan 49028.
