Betty passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Betty was a resident of Michigan at the time of passing.

After graduating from Montevideo High School in 1960, Betty continued her education at Rockingham Memorial School of Nursing, obtaining her degree as part of the Class of 1963.

In her career as a Registered Nurse, Betty cared for, comforted, and aided people at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Catawba Sanatorium, Western State, General Leonard Wood Army Hospital, Grace Community Hospital, and Mary Greeley Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, February 16 at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE) with visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam can be made to Betty's favorite church: Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, 7120 Ore Bank Road, Port Republic, VA 24471.
