A very spiritual woman, Betty Lou Kimbrew, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Freedom Plaza Care Center. She was born to Harold and Blanche Toler on October 3, 1928 in Georgetown, Ohio.

Betty moved from Georgetown to Dayton, Ohio and attended cosmetology school. She soon met and married Raphiel Kimbrew who was enlisted in the United States Air Force. They lived in several states and overseas and finally settled in Arizona in 1968. Betty then began her second career as an administrative assistant working for the Cartwright School District, Internal Revenue Service and finally retiring from the Immigration and Naturalization Service in 1993. Betty has remained deeply involved in the church over the years and has been a member of the Women's Missionary Society, Protestant Women of the Chapel the Usher Board and a regular attendee at bible study. Anyone who knew Betty knows she was not only loved by all, but more importantly a Friend to all.

Betty is survived by two sons from her more than 60 year union with Raphiel Kimbrew Jr, Raphiel Ellison Kimbrew of Phoenix and Bruce Alan Kimbrew (Dr Ronni Brown) of Oakland, California; grandchildren Sydney Rae, Sean Ellis and Troy Aiden Kimbrew; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; sister Lois Jackson of Cincinnati, Ohio and hundreds of friends. Her husband, Raphiel Kimbrew Jr. and sister Laura Felder of Georgetown, Ohio preceded her in death.
