Betty Rose Goodall was born near Omaha on March 31, 1927 to Roy and Lillian Goodall. Betty lost her mother at age 12 and moved to Oklahoma with her father, first to El Reno and then Oklahoma City. Betty shared many stories of her childhood, performing gymnastics at Soldier Field in Chicago, Hawaiian steel guitar lessons as a student and then teacher. Her two half-sisters and mother died of tuberculosis, brother Jack died in WWII. Father died in 1955 and husband Lloyd and brother Robert Goodall died in 1989.

Betty graduated from Central High in 1945 while working full-time at Wilson Meat. She met Lloyd Mann on a blind date arranged by her best friend, who was dating Lloyd's brother. She loved marrying into the large Mann family and was close friends with his many sisters and brothers.

Betty and Lloyd were happily married for 40 years and both put their family first. Son Garland (Gary) Lee Mann and daughter Pamela Sue Cross-Cupit knew they were loved and supported. Betty retired from the Oklahoma State Department of Public Safety after Lloyd's death in 1989. She became an active member of Linwood United Methodist Church and made many friends there.

Betty's grandchildren received gifts of her love, time, and care. Ashley (Ron), Ragan (Dino), and Aaron were very close to her heart, as were her great grandchildren; Mara, Rebecca, Zoe, Ronnie and Jaxon. She is lovingly remembered by many extended family and friends.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Health Alliance for the Uninsured or Linwood United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 3 at 10:00 am at Hahn Cook Street and Draper, with internment to follow at Memorial Park.
