Funeral services for Betty Carol Ross Turner, 71, will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Kemper and Bro. Bill Espy presiding. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Mrs. Turner passed away peacefully Thursday, August 10, 2017, surrounded by her husband and family at her home in Three Way, Tennessee. She was born on November 18, 1945, in Henderson, TN to Warner Ansel and Gertrude Phillips Ross. She attended schools during her early years at Chester County and graduated from North Side High School in Madison County in 1963. Mrs. Turner worked for the Children's Clinic in Jackson, Tn. for over fifteen years as a nurse for Dr. Bruce Maley. She also worked for the Tennessee Department of Safety as a driver's license examiner for several years before retiring due to her health.

Mrs. Turner leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Tom Turner; four children, Julie Turner of Three Way , TN; Janet Thomas (Dale) of Jackson, TN; Chris Turner (Robin) of Oakfield, TN; and Richard Turner (Hannah) of Maryville, TN. Cherishing her memory are seven grandchildren, Will Turner, Paige Mueller(Kolton), Warner Thomas, Ross Thomas, Robert Turner, Eli Turner, and Jacob Turner; two great-grandchildren; Bo Mueller and Briley Mueller; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding her in death are her parents; her sister, Judy Brown; and two brothers, Tony Alan Ross and Richard Douglas Ross.

The family deeply appreciates all of her caregivers during her hospital stays, trips to the Kirkland Cancer Center and final days at home.

Visitation for the services will be Sunday, August 13, 2017, 1-3 pm at Antioch Baptist Church.

The family requests all memorials be contributed to the Antioch Cemetery Fund, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, or Kirkland Cancer Center.
