Betty was born on December 5, 1926 and passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Betty was a resident of North Carolina.

Mrs. Cauthen was a graduate of Ashley High School.

Family and friends of Mrs. Cauthen are invited to attend her visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in Founders Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Robert C Wilkes Jr. will officiate. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Evergreen - A Quiet Place.

The Cauthen family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church 2650 Union Road Gastonia NC 28054.
