Billy Joe Suggs Services for Billy Joe Suggs 81, of Longview will be 10 am Wednesday, October 28th at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Schulik and Rev. Al Birklund officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Mr. Suggs died Monday, October 26th at his residence. He was born October 11, 1928 in Trawick, Texas to Nathaniel and Montice Thompson Suggs. A resident of Longview since 1950, he was a member of the Mobberly Baptist Church, a retired supervisor for SWEPCO, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Vaudine of Longview; a son, Billy Ray Suggs of Longview; grandson, Daniel Suggs of Longview; sisters, Dorothy Jane Hoover of Longview and Helen Neill of Humble, Texas. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary in 2006. The family will receive friends at Rader's Tuesday evening 6 to 8 pm. A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com.
