The matriarch of the family, Blondena B. "Bunny" Barden 95, a longtime resident of Winchester, NH, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, surrounded in love with her family at her side, at the Applewood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester.

One of thirteen children of Paul and Mary (Trela) Jablonski, Blondena was proudly welcomed into the world on November 13, 1921 in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. She grew up in Turners Falls and was a 1937 graduate of Turners Falls High School.

A resident of Winchester since 1940, Bunny enjoyed being an active part of her community and church. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church in Winchester, and a member of the Winchester Ashuelot Catholic Society. Bunny was also a life member of the Winchester Minatt-Rivers VFW Post #44 Auxiliary.

For 18 years, she worked as an inspector with the former Homestead Woolen Mills in Swanzey.

Her greatest pride was that of her family. She loved the family gatherings, especially around the holidays, and she would quite often just sit and listen, taking in all of the conversations that surrounded her.

Bunny had a creative side to her as well. She was an avid crotchetier, knitter and creator of all different types of ceramic pieces. She also enjoyed a rousing game of bingo, shopping with her daughter, and traveling to the beaches of Maine.

She will be greatly missed by many, especially her daughter, Patricia Collier of Keene; eight grandchildren, Karen Starkey and her husband, James, Sharon Croteau and her husband, Kevin, Robert Collier and his partner, Ron Rambo, Kim Valanzola and her husband, Peter, Jeff Barden, Maria Reilley and her husband Ryan, Robert Herrick, Jill Herrick; eleven great-grandchildren, Jess Ritter, Kerrie Starkey, Casey Croteau, Jamie Stetson, Jordan Valanzola, Joshua Valanzola, Maeve Reilley, Owen Reilley, Aiden Reilley, Avelyn Reilley, Nathan Reilley; eight great-great-grandchildren, Carlee Croteau, Colby Hanshaw, Keegan Ritter, Jake Ritter, Riley Stetson, Kaelyn Stetson, Jackson Valanzola, Jameson Valanzola; a daughter-in-law, Judy Barden of Keene; a sister-in-law, Claire Jablonski of Turners Falls; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Barden in 1963, a son and daughter who died two hours apart on the same day in 2005, Raymond Barden and Jean Herrick; a great-grandson, Liam Reilley; a son-in-law, Wallace "Red" Herrick; eight brothers, Walter Jablonski, Felix Jablonski, Joseph Jablonski, John Jablonski, Paul Jablonski, 2nd, Paul Jablonski 3rd, Steven Jablonski, Theodore Jablonski; and four sisters, Anna Kobera, Josephine Rudinski and Grace and Mary Jablonski who died shortly after birth.
