Bob Bartlett was born second in a family with three boys in Hartford, KY, on September 1, 1931, to Forrest and Pauline Bartlett.

On June 6, 1951, in Owensboro, KY, Bob began his career sweeping the plant at Modern Welding Company. The same year, he married Mary Louise Parker. In 1954, he became salesman in Burlington, IA. In 1960, he was promoted to plant manager. In 1970, he opened Modern Welding's Fresno facility where he continued until his death as Vice President and Plant Manager. He was the longest tenured employee at Modern Welding Company for 66 years.

Bob loved adventure and nature. His hobbies were racing, jeeping, fishing, boating, camping, and hunting. Bob and Mary were spectators at the Reno Air Races for 47 years.

Bob has had a lifelong interest in the Civil War and American Revolution. He is a member of the Society of the Mayflower and Sons of the American Revolution.

He is survived by his wife Mary; and brother, Jackie. He is also survived by his four children, Bob, Paula, Kathy, and Sue; his daughter-in-law, Cheryl Bartlett; sons-in-law, Brian Lockie, and Steve Engleman. He has six grandchildren, Jackie, John, Mary, Mark, Amanda, and Kristen. He is survived by his three "fotched" on children, David Bacorn, John Hunsaker, and Rhoda Piland.

A Viewing will be held at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel on Sunday, November 19, 2017, from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
