OAK GROVE, LA- Funeral services for Bobby Ray "Bob" Castilaw, age 72, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church. Reverends Kenny Herring and Justin Colquette will officiate. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church. Bob Castilaw was born September 23, 1945. He left this earth and entered Heaven's gates on May 20, 2018 at the age of 72. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Ray and Mildred Castilaw; paternal grandparents, Robert "Bob" and Docia Motley Castilaw; maternal grandparents, G. W. and Luler Beatrice Beel Fowler; and sister-in-law, Virginia Holmes Castilaw. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gwendolyn Patrick Castilaw; daughters Tammye Castilaw Orr (Randy) of Oak Grove; Cheryl Castilaw Henson (Randy) of Haughton, LA and Karen Castilaw Colquette (Justin) of Wortham, TX as well as a very special niece, who was like a daughter, April Watkins Howell (Carl Jr.) of Pioneer, LA. Bob will be greatly missed by his grandchildren he loved so much, Olivia Dixon, Dylan Colquette (Scarlett), Devon Colquette, Ana Colquette, Kendall Orr, Ashton Howell and Wyatt Howell. He is also survived by his brother, Billy S.K. Castilaw (Evelyn); sister, Bonnie Castilaw Patrick (Tommy); and brother, Bruce W. Castilaw, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend. He sold John Deere farm equipment for 53 years and was currently employed by Goldman Equipment of Lake Providence, LA. Bob was an active member of Beulah Baptist Church. Pallbearers are: Gary Parker, Hutton Parker, Larry Bonner, Randy Orr, Randy Henson and Shane Bonner. Honorary Pallbearers are: Roger Defee, Len Sanders, Larry Hale, Dr. Lucas Beebe, Huey P. Danley, Kent Davis, Jimmie French and Kevin Flattman. The family would like to thank Dr. Greg Sampognaro and Dr. Charles Morgan.
