Brandon Gregory Jones, "BJ", 33, of Reseda, Thousand Oaks, and most recently Rosamond, CA, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from complications due to SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy).
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks - Griffin Memorial Park. Dr. Kimber Lee Wilkes will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks - Griffin Memorial Park. Burial will follow the service at approximately 3:00pm at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks - Griffin Memorial Park; which is also handling all funeral arrangements on behalf of the Jones Family.
Brandon was born in West Hills, CA on January 13, 1984. He attended Reseda Baptist Elementary School as well as Trinity Lutheran Jr./Sr. High School before going on to graduate from Birmingham Senior High School.
Brandon worked for a number of years in retail management, including Lids, Big-Five, Victoria's Secret, Sav-On and helped to fundraise for Greenpeace International in his spare time. He enjoyed trying to live an environmentally-conscious natural, healthy lifestyle - which included juicing and fresh fruits and vegetables. Brandon also enjoyed his home-town sports, supporting the Los Angeles Dodgers and Lakers, as well as being an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Brandon also loved to travel when time permitted and enjoyed sun filled days along the California coast.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Janice Jones; his brother, Christopher "CJ" Jones; and many other Jones and Sullivan family and friends.
Brandon is preceded in death by his father, Gregory Lloyd Jones; his paternal grandparents E. Lloyd Jones and Doreen Jean Jones (Mason); and his maternal grandparents, Raymond Martin Sullivan and Gloria Sullivan (Nese).
