Brian, a kind, gentle, caring and supportive soul was taken from us far too soon to start his final journey.

Dr. Brian Arthur Riviere was born on November 20, 1986 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

He is the son of Drs. Jim RIviere and Nancy Moteiro - Riviere, both Emeritus Professors at North Carolina State University. He is survived by his older brother Christopher Riviere who lives in San Francisco, CA and his younger sister Jessica Rogers and husband Christopher of Knightdale, NC. He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Colbert of Bridgeport, CT, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Monteiro of North Dartmouth, MA, and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Riviere of New Bedford, MA.

Brian graduated from Leesville Road Elementary, Middle and High Schools. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University in 2009 where he was a member of Alpha Chi Sigma. He graduated from Campbell University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2014 and was a member and treasurer of Phi Delta Chi. He worked at CVS since the age of 15 and currently was the Pharmacy Manager at the CVS on Leesville Church Road in Raleigh. Brian was a member of the American Pharmacists Association.

Brian was a devout follower of the Dave Matthews Band as well as being a strong supporter of the always struggling Wolfpack. Brian loved watching Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit over and over again while sending off "David Wolfe Riviere the Gnome" on numerous journeys with all his friends and family. He was an avid on-line gamer and never hesitated to help anyone. He touched and impacted so many lives. His incredible sense of humor made work in the pharmacy enjoyable. We will miss Brian dearly.
