Bruce was born on January 27, 1929 and passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

Bruce was a resident of Dallastown, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

Bruce was a 1946 graduate of Dallastown Area High School, where he was also served as the class treasurer.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Hengst and his brothers, Elwood Smith, Charlie Smith and Earle Smith A funeral service to honor Bruce's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4th at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Roger Mentzer officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday and will begin at 10:30 AM until the start of the funeral service. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions in Bruce's name can be made to the Veteran The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., Dallastown is in charge of arrangements.
