Bruce W. Ashcraft Jr., age 47, of Pensacola, Florida passed away suddenly in his home on Friday, October 27, 2017.
Bruce was born in Carthage, New York on June 15, 1970 to Tamara (Dening) Miller of Carthage, NY and Bruce Ashcraft, Sr. of Black River, NY. Bruce graduated from Carthage Central High School in 1988. He proudly served as a member of US Air Force from 1991-1997 including time in the Presidential Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery and at the White House.
He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially loved the time spent with his husband Mark, and their two dogs, Tori and Avery. He had a passion for music and singing at his church, Holy Cross Metropolitan Community Church in Pensacola, FL.
He is survived by his husband, Mark Everett; mother, Tamara Miller; father, Bruce Ashcraft Sr. (Carol Moseley); brother Ronald (Anne) Ashcraft of Scotia; sister Katherine (Gregory) Hayden of Fulton; sister Denise (Rodney) Olaen of Lacey, WA; sister Kellie Petrie (Justin Lavancha) of Adams; sister Jamie (Robbie) Meyers of Adams; brother Andy (Danielle Ladd) Ashcraft of Adams; brother Michael Ashcraft of Adams; sister-in-laws Pam Everett, Peggy (Neil) Todd, Paula (Jim) Adams, and brother-in-law Scott Everett. Bruce is also survived by many step sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bruce is preceded in death by his step father Lyle Miller; maternal grandparents Milton and Marta (Makuch) Dening; paternal grandparents George and Dora (Mono) Ashcraft; his father and mother-in-law Frank B. Everett, Jr. and Margery (James) Everett and his great niece Madden Katherine Hayden Ladd.
Memorial services will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel and Memorial Park on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2pm.
