Mr. Buford B. Bond, 87, of Royston, GA passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015, at his home.

Mr. Bond was born in Madison County, GA on February 29, 1928, son of the late Charlie D. Bond and the late Laura Ophelia Randall Bond. He was a cutter having worked for Oxford and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Royston, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie M. Brown Bond of Royston, GA; daughter, Patricia B. Hart of Royston, GA; grandsons and spouses, Shane and Dawn Hart of Royston, GA, Shawn and Leslie Hart of Commerce, GA; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Caleb, Savanna, and Fisher; brother, Lee Bond; and Crystal Martin, which he loved as his own daughter, and her family (Trent, Colby, and Averi) of Carnesville, GA.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bond was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew Bond, Clyde Bond, Floyd Bond, Howard Bond, Charlie Bond, Jr.; sister, Bertie Lee Bowen.

Funeral services for Mr. Bond will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Bond and Rev. Kenneth Deitle officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. The family is at the home of his daughter, Patricia Hart.

Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Trinity UMC Cemetery Fund, 1297 Athens Road, Royston, GA 30662.
