Carlos (Bubby) Parsley III, 63, of Charleston, passed away due to a sudden illness on October 26, 2015.

Bubby was born in Charleston on February 23, 1952, to the late Naomi O’dell Parsley-Keller. He was a customer sales representative in the carpet/flooring industry with over 35 years of experience. Bubby was a loyal husband, father, brother and companion to all who knew him. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved getting close family and friends together to watch sports, listen to music and sing karaoke.

Bubby is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kathi; children, Jaime and her husband, Jamie Brown and C.J. Parsley; siblings, Judy (James) Newman, Dawnzelle (Mark) Duckwyler, Jeff (Kelly) Parsley, Chris (Debby) Parsley, Cathy Hunter, David Parsley and Scott Parsley, father-in-law and mother–in-law, Bill and Missy Saunders; brothers-in-law, Billy and Alan Saunders; sister-in-law, Sandi (Scotty) Allport; fur-babies, “Daddy’s Girl” Bailey Rae and his “Grand-dog” Ellie Mae, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Bub will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Bubby’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Activity Center of Canaan Baptist Church, 1919 Bigley Ave, Charleston. Friends are encouraged to come and share memories with the family.
