Carmela Costello fell asleep in death peacefully on February 22 at the age of 86. She was in the caring hands of the staff of Pathways Hospice at McKee Medical Center and was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boscoreale, Italy on July 5, 1923, and came to the United States after marrying in 1956. She lived in Chicago then Phoenix and finished out the last of her days in Loveland, Colorado. She is survived by three daughters, Sama Bryarly of Minnesota, Mary Decker and husband Jeff and Jenny Hammer and husband Gary all residing in Loveland. She also leaves a granddaughter, Kimberly Rodriguez and her husband Joseph who gave Carmela the beautiful gift of a great-granddaughter Aurelia whom she adored. Besides her family, her greatest joy, she also had a very strong faith in God and was privileged to be known as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Because of that strong faith, she looked forward to seeing her family again in the resurrection in paradise on earth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore, and her son-in-law, Randy Bryarly. As per her wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Resthaven Funeral Home and Memory Gardens in Fort Collins will be handling the arrangements.
