Carol Ann (Basler) Weymouth, age 79, died peacefully with family at her side on January 6, 2018. She was the devoted wife of Leon A. Weymouth for 61 yrs. Devoted mother of the late Leon R. Weymouth, Loving mother to Lynn Applegate and her husband Bryant, Michael "The Milkman" Weymouth, Kevin Weymouth and Carla Newbrey and her spouse Michael. Adoring Grandmother of 9, Great Grandmother of 5 and counting. Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Watson) Basler. Cherished niece of Elizabeth (Betty) McNeil. Sister of Joseph Basler, Barbara Kallet and the late Janet Govoni and the late John Basler. Carol was born, raised in Kingston. In 1962 she and Leon moved to Plymouth to raise their family. Carol took pride in making their house a home for everyone. Carol was an avid bingo, card and cribbage player. She loved spending time with her friends at the senior center. Carol enjoyed the beach and being on the ocean, fishing and boating. In the past she served with the lady's auxillary for the VFW, a past member of post #40. Carol was a practical joker, always smiling and quick with love and advise. She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved dancing, music and traveling. Carol will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. Plymouth at 7 pm .Visiting hours from 5-7pm. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
