She was deeply loved by all of her peers at Hazel Park, but most importantly by her students over the years. This was evidenced by former students over the years expressing their love and gratitude when seeing Carol. Carol loved her life, and was always smiling and laughing. Carol loved going on cruises, and was able to go on a cruise with her good friend, Barbara Cottrell, before she went in for surgery.
