Carole L. Gurney
A resident of Littleton for 46 years formerly of Burlington and Cambridge, Ma.
Carole Linda (Chambers) (Lemieux) Gurney age 74 a longtime resident of Littleton, Ma. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick N. Gurney who died in 2006 and the late Donald p. Lemieux who died in 1996.
Carole was born in Arlington Ma, on December 30, 1940 a daughter of the late Henry C. and Margret J. (Burns) Chambers. She attended Cambridge Schools.
Prior to her retirement she had been a housekeeper serving her customers both in Littleton and the surrounding area for 20 years, a job she most enjoyed. She had also worked as a supervisor for Hylectronics of Littleton for over 15 years and in her early years at GW Plastics.
Carole loved crocheting blankets for family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing.
She was an avid bowler, loved doing her puzzles and enjoyed drawing people.
Carole loved her cruises to Bermuda every May and spending her Septembers in Wells Maine for the past 30 years.

Her survivors include her 3 children: Donald P. Lemieux Jr. and his wife Lori of Pelham, NH, Debora L. Healey and her husband Peter of Pawtucket, RI and David A. Lemieux and his wife Darlene of Dracut, Ma.
Her grandchildren Jason E. Healy, Kellie C. Finn and her husband Michael, Nicole M. Lemieux and Pierre P. Eno.
Her step children: Cheryl Cromwell, Missy Pepin and Fred Gurney Jr.
She was also the grandmother of the late Michelle E. Lemieux and sister to the Late Henry D. "Skip" Chambers and Harold W. Chambers.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday may 17, 2015 at the Badger Funeral Home 347 King street, Littleton Ma, from 4 to 7 PM. Carole's funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 11 o clock in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Burlington, Ma.
