Carolyn May Boudreau, 65

Clinton - Our beloved "Daisy May", "Pooh Bear", passed peacefully on Sunday June 12, 2016
after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones. Born to Velma (Cloukia) and Arthur Crowell, she was the oldest of ten children.

She attended Winslow schools, graduating with honors in June of 1969, giving birth to her first in November 1968. She set a precedent for other childbearing students to follow. She married her Sunday school sweetheart, Wayne G. Boudreau, and became mother to three, grandmother to five and great-meme to three with the fourth on the way.

She enjoyed her many years of working in area restaurants as a breakfast cook in places like Coffee Pot I, II, Open Hearth Café and leasing Purple Cow Jr. in Skowhegan. She retired after working a short time in the cafeteria at Thayer Hospital.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, yardsaling, crocheting, eating at Ming Lee's and playing Bingo. She looked forward to water balloon - squirt gun battles during family gatherings. She enjoyed her four-legged companions, Rocket, Precious and her granddog, Brody John. She was selfless with her beautiful smile and kind words, but was always armed with a quick pun or two.

She is predeceased by both of her parents, a sister Jody Lynn and a brother Richard S. Crowell.

Carolyn is survived by her husband and companion of 48 years, Wayne Boudreau; her three children: Melissa Boudreau and companion Andy Daigle of Rumford; Arthur Boudreau and wife Michelle LaPierre of Lisbon; Johnathan Boudreau and companion Veronica Reynolds of Clinton; her five grandchildren: Cheyenne Goodrich and husband Justin of Sidney; Natasha Paradis of Rumford; Alexander and Alyssa Boudreau of Vassalboro; baby Austin; her three great-grandchildren: Allee, Justin, Jr. and Margo, all of Sidney and Mason Wayne due to arrive in October.

She is also survived by seven siblings: Paul Crowell and companion Marlene; Gail Swain and husband Daryl; Cynthia Veilleux; Paula Homer and husband Stephen; David Crowell and companion Dawn; Marjorie and Daniel Crowell; many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and one Aunt Sybil of Alabama. She leaves behind many special friends including all her Facebook buddies that meant the world to her.

She will be greatly missed by all. "How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard ." Winnie the Pooh.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday June 16 from 5 - 7 pm at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville. A celebration of her life will be held at her sister's, Gail Swain, in Skowhegan on Friday June 24th at 5pm. Please Facebook Melissa Boudreau for directions.
