Carolyn Mae West, 66, of Mammoth Spring, AR, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Eagle Crest Nursing & Rehab Center, Ash Flat, AR.
Carolyn was born in Blytheville to Alfred Wayne "Fritz" and Nannie Byrd (Hopper) West. She was a member of Union Hill Community Church in Mammoth Spring and a previous member of Bethany Bethany Baptist Church and Clear Lake Baptist Church. Carolyn touched so many lives. She loved everyone she met and everyone loved her. She never forgot anyone whether big or small. She especially loved preachers and could always pick a preacher out of a crowd.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carolyn leaves her brother Randall W. West (Vicki) of Bella Vista, AR; three sisters, Charlene Handley (Gene) of Blytheville, Lou Anna Stalcup (David) of Mammoth Spring, AR and Marsha Pope (Louis) of Dunn, NC; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hyde and Rev. Jim Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church.
