Carroll Earl McCullah, 96, completed his life's journey in Merritt Island, Florida, to be with the Lord on April 21, 2017.
"Mac" was a highly decorated Marine Aviator who served in both WWII and Korea, having the honor of being awarded six Distinguished Flying Crosses.
He was born in Alliance, Nebraska and resided in Jacksonville, Florida after retiring from the United States Marine Corps. He lived with his son and family in Merritt Island in recent years enjoying golf and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years Berta McCullah. He is survived by his sister Phyllis Henningsen of Richmond, Virginia. His daughter Janice Lloyd, his son Patrick J. McCullah, his three grandsons; Patrick McCulluh, Jr., Ryan McCullah and Michael McCullah and 5 great-grandchildren; Meaghan Tristan, Kierstin, Ashlinn and Rowan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday April 27, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. ~ 7:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, located at 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida 32953. The service to celebrate Mac's life is scheduled for Friday April 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at 5525 Us Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting
