Charles Cledor Toussaint was born in Haiti on July 19th, 1946 to the late Dieudonne and Lamartine Toussaint. He had two sons, Frantz and Marc LaMarre Toussaint, prior to his move from Archaie to Port-au- Prince, where he met and married the love of his life Marie Annette Ghislaine Toussaint. Out of their union came forth four children Jessica Toussaint, Bertho Toussaint, Grady Toussaint, and Charlene Toussaint. He was a provider and a great father who covered his family and love them dearly.

He migrated to the United States in 1982 and resided in New York. He retired in 2008 from FLOS USA where he worked diligently for over 20 years. After his retirement, Charles relocated to Acworth, Georgia where his life changed forevermore upon accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart. He became a member of Mount Olives Church of God in Acworth, Georgia and was groomed under the guidance of his Pastor Reneau and became a faithful member of the ministry.

In the last season of his life he made his peace with everyone. He was quick to say "sorry" even when he was not at fault. He shared the love of God with as many as would hear and had a heart to receive. He was a praying man who loved the Word of God, and most of all he loved to worship The Lord.

The cornerstone of his life was his love for his God and his family. He is survived by his loving wife Marie Annette Ghislaine Toussaint, his sons, daughters, grandchildren Talya and Trinity Toussaint, his brothers Jean Constant Toussaint, Jean Claude Toussaint, Pierre Toussaint, Anthony Camille, his sisters Raymonde D'Or, Irma Camille, and Rosette Merlon, his uncles Pierre Momplaisir and St. Louis Momplaisir, his dear aunt Manette, his second mom and confidant and a host of cousins whom he considered brothers and sisters, and his church family.

This man, Charles Cledor Toussaint, was an example of what "love in action" means. He was a man of honor, integrity, a wonderful father, priceless husband, great brother, and a good friend. He has left an imprint on everyone with whom he interacted. Our lives are much better and richer because of the deposit he has made in it . As we mourn him, we are reminded that he is where we long to be, so let's prepare ourselves and live a life that is pleasing to the God he served. If we do as he did and do justly, love mercy and walk humbly before our God, then we all will one day see him again.
