Charles was born on August 15, 1962 and passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Charles was a resident of Joliet, Illinois at the time of passing.

Charles had served his Country in the United States Army and retired from the National Guard after 22 years of service.

Funeral services for Charles D. Dickey, Sr. will be held Friday, September 15, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment to follow with full military honors under the auspices of the United States Army at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the family would be appreciated.
