Charles Greathouse, age 77, of Russellville, formerly of Chillicothe Ohio, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on December 5, 1940, in Cinncinnati, Ohio, to Chester Lewis and Opal Nellie Young Greathouse.

He was a United States Marine Veteran of Vietnam, and was an engineer for the Department of Energy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Ann Greathouse.

Survivors include two daughters, Karin S. Johnson and Kristine Althouse, both of Chillicothe, Ohio; a son, Chuck Greathouse of Chillicothe, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Greathouse of Russellville and James Greathouse of Loveland, Ohio; a sister, Connie Gertz of Reading, Ohio; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his friend and caregiver, Sharon Coffey.

Burial will be private at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village with arrangements by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
