.Keller, Charles L., age 78, of Beavercreek passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marie (Tangeman) Keller, 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Larry and wife,Alice , Bill (Clarence) and a son-in-law, Vern Humbert. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Shirley (Pitsinger) Keller; 7 children, Debbie Humbert, Donna (Greg) Herrin, Darlene (John) Ross, Doug (Kim) Keller, Dan Keller, Dennis (Rhonda) Keller, Don (Melissa) Keller. He is also survived by 1 sister, Mary ((Bob)-deceased) Noonan; 4 brothers, Jim (Corky-deceased) Keller, Tom Keller, Joe (Linda) Keller, Jerry (Arlene-deceased) Keller; a sister-in-law, Beverly (Bill) Blackmore; 23 grandchildren, Cindy Humbert, Nick (Lindsey) Herrin, Stephanie Herrin, Matt Herrin, Johnny (Fiancee, Brooke) Ross, Jackie Ross, Jimmy Ross, Joanna Ross, Thomas Keller, Eva Keller, Emily Keller, Jesse (Jena) Brooks, Kenny (Chelsea) Keller, Mike (Rebecca) Keller, Jacob Keller, Taylor Keller, Ashley Foland, Alex Keller, Megan Keller, Joe Keller, Jack Keller, Samantha Keller, Julia Keller; 8 great grandchildren, Allie Londean, Maci Brooks, Landon Million, Rain Million, Bri Keller, Marcus Keller, Robert Keller and Emmett Keller. In addition he is survived numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins especially the Newkold family and special friends, Frank and Lois Klotz. Charles was a graduate of Patterson Co-op High School, Class of 1956, in automotives and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was retired from Chemical Waste Management and had formerly been employed by N.C.R. and Delco. Charles was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and a longtime volunteer at Carroll High School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 and 1 hour prior to the mass at the church on Friday. If desired, contributions may be made to The Charlie and Shirley Keller Scholarship Fund at Carroll High School, Hospice of Dayton or the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Helen.
