Dr. Charles Leigh Gill died on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Winter Park, after an extended illness. Born in Montgomery in 1943, Leigh attended Sidney Lanier High School, the University of Alabama and the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. He owned a practice for many years in Winter Park, FL. Dr. Gill was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and maintained his lifelong ties to Alabama and to his friends and family here.
