Charles passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Charles was a resident of Florida at the time of passing.

In January, 1945, he graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, where he acted as both quarterback and captain of the football team.

Immediately after graduation, he entered the US Navy, serving as a radarman on a ship in the Atlantic for the remainder of World War II.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 4:30pm at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wildwood, Florida with burial to follow.

Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.
