Charles Vincent (Chuck) Crowe III, 64, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, November 8. He was born in Cartersville on October 14, 1953 to Lelia Pittman and Charles Vincent Crowe, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Alice White Crowe; daughters, Sarah (Curt) Chapman, Alice (David) Ramey, Emily (Michael) Hudson; son, Charles Vincent Crowe IV (Josh Saylor); granddaughters, Mallie Chapman, Anna Ramey, Isabell Ramey, Margaret Rose Hudson and Lucy Hudson. His mother, Lelia Pittman Crowe Johnson, brother, Robert Pittman (Laurie) Crowe and sister, Lelia Ann (James) Mackey survive as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. His father, Charles Vincent Crowe Jr. and stepfather, Edward Harold Johnson preceded him in death. Chuck graduated from Cartersville High School and received a Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University. He retired from Murata Electronics North Ameria, Inc. after 20 years traveling the world as the company Materials Management Supervisor. Chuck adored his five granddaughters and enjoyed spending time and sharing historical family tidbits with them. He was an avid Bartow County history buff and loved riding the backroads of Bartow County. He was a lifelong member of Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service is to be held Wednesday, November 15 at 11:00 AM at Sam Jones Memorial Methodist Church , 100 West Church Street, Cartersville, GA. The family will receive visitors in the church sanctuary from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice, however the family suggests considering contributions to Sam Jones United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
