Charles "Chuck" William Stroth, age 82 of Warren, passed away peacefully in his home on May 14, 2017. He was born in Detroit on July 13, 1934; the son of Armond and Theresa (nee Florin) Stroth. A Union Man, Chuck worked as a Pipefitter for over 50 years. He worked on a great number of local projects including the air-conditioning at the top of the Renaissance Center, Lakeside Mall and numerous buildings downtown. He was highly educated in his field. A true professional. Chuck also honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a dog lover and enjoyed puzzles, hockey and baseball. Among many things, he will be remembered for his farmer's tan, his quietly protective nature and for his love for his family. Beloved husband of Barbara for 60 years. Loving father of Kimberly (the late John and Woody) Krupp, Jennifer (Roger) Barnes, Paul (Sandy) Stroth, Patricia McKinney, Jacquelyn Glaser and the late Christine Wideman. Treasured grandfather of Joseph, Katherine, Daniel, Jenna, Sara, Christopher, Nicholas, Zachary, Angel, Tiffany, Bryon, Casey, Jessica and Emily. Proud great-grandfather of many. Chuck's family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary 7:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. A funeral service with military honors will take place on Friday, May 19th at 10:00AM at the funeral home. A committal service will immediately follow at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
