Cheryl Ann Werley-Bevis, 70, of Orange City, FL passed away May 30, 2017.

She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on November 26, 1946. She grew up

on Lake of the Woods, in Maitland, FL. Cheryl graduated from Lyman High School in Longwood.

Cheryl worked for an appellate law firm in Washington, DC and resided there for ten years. She moved

Back to Maitland and went to work doing PR for Seminole County Mental Health. She attended Rollins

college in Winter Park and graduated in 1989 with a degree in Public Relations. After graduation

she formed her own Public Relations company. She ended her career working at Wyndham Resorts.

Cheryl was preceded in passing by her parents, Budd and Bonnie Werley, her brother Mark Werley,

and the love of her life, her husband Ken Bevis. She is survived by her brother Scott Werley and his wife

Alison, her nieces Jensen Werley, Jillian Werley, Kathy Clark, Allison Gray and her nephew Mark

Werley, as well as many close cousins and dear friends. Cheryl enjoyed life immensely. Although she

never had children of her own she was an amazing Aunt. She had a big heart especially when it came to

animals. To call her an animal lover would truly be an understatement.



A Celebration of Life service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E. Altamonte Drive,

Altamonte Springs, FL on Saturday, June 24th at 2pm.



In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to T.E.A.R.S of Seminole County, a non-profit

Organization founded to support abused, abandoned, and relinquished animals throughout
