Chester was born on May 11, 1943 and passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

Chester was a resident of Michigan at the time of passing.

Chet was a caring husband, a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather, loving brother, and loyal friend. He was an honorably discharged Army veteran, serving from 1963 to 1969, and retired Detective Sergeant, serving 35 years at the Kent County Sherriff's department from 1969 to 2004.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI) on Saturday, November 23rd at 3:00 pm with visitation preceding the service from 1:00 to 3:00.
