Chester was born on February 22, 1936 and passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.

Chester was a resident of Mount Gilead, Ohio at the time of his passing.

Chet attended and graduated from Chesterville High School.

Chet enlisted in the United States Army of which he was honorably discharged after serving his country during peacetime.

He was married to Norma.

His family will greet friends from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday December 3 2016 at the Snyder Funeral Home Craven Chapel. 67 N. Main St. Mt. Gilead OH. Services honoring his life will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Ron Stephens and Pastor Gary Kochheiser officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with full military honors provided by the active duty Army V.F.W. Post 8054 and AmVets Post 87.

If desired memorial contributions may be made to one of his favorite groups: the Silver Sneakers Club. Morrow County Community Center: Silver Sneakers 16 S. Main St. Mount Gilead OH.
