Cindra Kay Munroe, 57, of Keene, passed away in the comfort of her home on March 22, 2017 after a lengthy battle with renal failure.

She was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to the Monadnock region at the age of 10 where she was raised by her grandfather.

On January 15, 2000 she married the love of her life, Bruce Munroe, after an eight-year courtship.

Cindra was an avid fiction reader and especially enjoyed Stephen King. Gathering an assortment of books, she had so many it amounted to a library. She had a great passion for jewelry. Not only did she collect, but she designed many custom pieces using gems and stones giving them new life. Cindra enjoyed fishing and traveling the US with her husband. Aside from her fantastic quick wit, Cindra was known for her numerous pairs of flip-flops. Regardless of the weather, she would be wearing them - or going barefoot, flip-flops in hand.

Cindra will be dearly missed by her husband of 17 years: Bruce Munroe; daughters: Rebecca LaCount and Cheri LaCount; step-daughters: Karin and Deanne; grandchildren: Dominic, Giovanni, Chloe, and Aydeanna; and sisters: Diana and Bonnie.

She is predeceased by her daughter Amber LaCount and grandfather Clarence Derby.

A service to honor Cindra's life will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday March 26, 2017 with a Celebration of Life to follow until 5:00 pm at the Winchester VFW, 5 Main Street, Winchester, NH.
