Markin, Clarence, 85, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Clarence was preceded in death by his loving wife JoAnn Elizabeth (Swick) Markin, who passed away on the same day 16 years ago. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Lewis, Robert, James, and Frank. Clarence is survived by his children, Pamela S. (Jack) Roberts, Craig L. (Julie) Markin, Roger J. (Lori) Markin, Jimmy G. (Xi) Markin, grandchildren, John, Jessica (Nick), Kimberly (Dominic), Sarah (Kevin), Ryan, and SuAnn, step grandchildren, Josh, Heather, Ryan and Derek, brother Thomas Markin, sister-in-law, June Swick and 1 great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Clarence was an U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Maize Manor Methodist Church. He worked for Ohio Bell and was a self-employed real-estate broker. A visitation will be held at Crouse-Kauber-Funeral Home in Johnstown on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 12pm to 1:30pm with a service at 1:30pm. Interment will be at Forest Memorial Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214.
