CLARICE LORETTA FOSSEN September 8, 1924 ~ March 26, 2015 Clarice Loretta Fossen, 90, of Vancouver, WA, passed away at the Ray Hickey Hospice House. She was born to Louis and Olga Ambers on Sept. 8, 1924 in Heimdal, ND where she attended high school. Clarice went to Clark College and received her degree in Nursing, which she worked as until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, spending time with family. Clarice was President and Vice President of the Womens Chapter of the American Legion. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Hazel Dell and the American Legion. Clarice is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Hertz and Sharon Juza; sons, Wayne Fossen and Dwayne Fossen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Judel Ambers and Alvern Ambers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Fossen; six brothers; and three sisters. Visitation at 12:00 p.m., Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Thurs., April 2. Service at 12:30 p.m., then hospitality to follow at 1:30 p.m. Graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Memory Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to may be made to American Diabetes Association .
