Clifford Clay Caldwell, Sr.
Of Madison Creek, WV
Clifford Clay Caldwell, Sr., 55, of Madison Creek, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, September 11, 2017, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Cliff was born on February 18, 1962, in Logan, the son of Roger and Margaret Goodman Caldwell of Madison Creek.
He was a disabled mechanic. Cliff enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and gathering with family and friends. Cliff loved life, never met a stranger, and had loads of friends and laughter during his lifetime.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Brenda Kaye Block Caldwell; one brother, James Thomas Caldwell; one grand-daughter, Angel Caldwell; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Madeline Goodman; and his paternal grandparents, Cletis and Thelma Conn.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are three children, Jason Caldwell and his girlfriend, Joanie Osburn, Clifford "Tubby" Caldwell, Jr., and Crystal Caldwell and her boyfriend, Gary Carter; two brothers, Roger "Junior" and Barbara "Bobbie" Caldwell and Cletis "Fats" and Deloris "Dee" Caldwell; two special brothers, Kyle Caldwell and Gregory Caldwell; seven grandchildren, Alexi, Gage, Keeley, William, Katelyn, Felicia, and Adain; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Harvey, Dr. Paugh, and the nursing staff on the 5th Floor of LRMC for all the care a support they provided to Cliff and the family over the past few weeks.
Visitation will be held on 6-9 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017, at the Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church at Lyburn where a funeral service will begin at 8 p.m. with Rev. Jody Brown officiating.
In honor of Cliff's wishes, his remains will be cremated.
